FOUNDER AND CEO
Entrepreneur, senior geologist and founding partner of Atlântica Minas. He founded the company in Belo Horizonte in 1998 and led the consolidation of one of the most respected mineral rights portfolios in the country, focused on iron, magnetite, graphite and manganese assets. The reading that guides the company is counter-cyclical: smaller mines, high-grade ore and a vertically integrated operation. He describes the sector's current stage as new mining: digitalisation, the energy transition and demand for genuinely sustainable operations.
