28 YEARS OF HISTORY
The company began by restoring degraded land. That never stopped being the method.
Over nearly 30 years, Atlântica Minas has built a track record marked by the development of mineral projects and the continuous expansion of its portfolio. Its history began with work on the restoration of degraded land and the development of iron ore mining, later moving into mining activity itself and into the acquisition and development of a broad portfolio of mineral assets.
As the company grew, Atlântica Minas diversified its activity, expanding its investments above all in critical and strategic minerals, with graphite, lithium, manganese and high-purity quartz standing out. Its portfolio also covers iron ore, gold, limestone, copper, lead, zinc, nickel, phosphate, rare earths, titanium and gneiss, among other mineral substances.
Atlântica Minas currently holds around 220 mineral rights, distributed mainly across Minas Gerais, Goiás and Bahia, with new assets incorporated in Bahia in 2026. Most of the portfolio relates to iron ore, alongside projects in critical and strategic minerals and other substances of mineral interest.
The projects are at different stages of development, including assets under exploration, projects starting or advancing through environmental licensing, and operations already running. That range lets the company develop its portfolio progressively, reconciling geological knowledge, mineral development and environmental responsibility.
Atlântica Minas also works to build strategic partnerships — with mining companies, investment banks, investment funds, and licensing, drilling and geophysics firms — seeking long-term relationships in the joint development of its mineral assets and projects.

SUBSTANCES
From rock to anode, magnet and silicon
More than fifteen mapped substances, organised by the industrial chain they supply.
High-purity graphite
Input for lithium-ion battery anodes, with fronts in Jequitinhonha, Malacacheta and Ibicaraí.
Quartz sand
Grade of 99.88% purity, with potential for the 5N standard required by the silicon industry.
Iron ore
Raw material for steelmaking, present in the Perdões, Barbacena and Barão projects.
Rare earths (REE)
Base of the permanent magnets used in electric motors and in high-technology applications.
High-purity quartz
Direct application in the electronics industry and in the semiconductor chain.
