Privacy and data protection guidelines

Atlântica Minas Mineradora recognises the importance of privacy and of personal data protection, and is committed to handling personal information responsibly and appropriately in the course of its activities.

Any personal data processed by the Company is handled in accordance with the applicable law, in particular Law No. 13.709/2018, the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), observing the principles and requirements set out in that legislation.

The Company adopts measures intended to protect the personal data and to secure the information under its responsibility, seeking to ensure that processing is carried out appropriately, securely and consistently with the purposes for which the data is used.

The processing of personal data is overseen by the Legal and Information Technology areas of Atlântica Minas Mineradora, which work together in assessing matters relating to privacy, data protection and information security.

Atlântica Minas Mineradora thereby reaffirms its commitment to privacy, to the protection of personal data and to compliance with the applicable law, seeking to improve its practices and procedures for handling information on a continuing basis.
